Exchange 2010 SP2 UR4 mailbox move issue

Exchange 2010 SP2 UR4 mailbox move to another DB on the same server with newly created databases gives warning/error:

The Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Replication service completed request <mailbox> with warnings.
Warning: Failed to clean up the source mailbox after the move.
Error details: MapiExceptionUnexpectedMailboxState: Unable to delete mailbox. (hr=0x80004005, ec=2634)

The mailbox has been moved and can be accessed. I think this is a bug which MS should solve.

  1. We are seeing the same issue after upgrading to Exchange 2010 SP2 UR4.

Is it safe to ignore the warning or is there some sort of cleanup process we will need to do when we see these errors.

Has anyone had confirmation on what to do from MS?

  3. For moving the mailboxes in Exchange Server, here is a great Exchange recovery tool that enables the users to fix the issues in mailboxes if any there prior to acutal migration. After using this tool, user can directly mount the database to MS Exchange Server. A free trial version is also exists of the website. The tool is also capable to rebuild and restore a failed Exchange information store database.

    Thanks
